News (10-28-2014) New Update

Got in one game last night.  My onedrive account has been acting screwy, so no video again.  I'll be out of town for the next week, so no updates until next Tuesday most likely.

Next game is Roma in the Champion's League Round of 16, so it should be interesting.

It blows my mind the difference in games.  I play Everton to a 1-0 win that is a rough, gutsy midfield battle where chances are few and far between, and then I play a game like the one last night against Stoke where I win 5-3.  The game was wide open with over 30 shots in total.  Two goals I gave up...well, the first was a PK, and the third goal was because I couldn't switch to the player I wanted and my players were badly out of position.  As for my goals, well, unlike Everton, Stoke was really susceptible to through balls, and they paid for it.

Also, feel free to check out the league leaders, while Rodrigo has 31 goals in the BPL, the next closest is Ideye with Man Utd on 12 goals.  With 26 games down it's not looking like more than one or two more players are gonna reach 20 goals.  If you look at the league table you'll see this season has been the season of the draw...there have been so many, kind of insane.

With the 5-3 victory over Stoke City, the Saints increased their lead at the top of the table to 12 points.  Rodrigo also went over 30 goals in the league as he scored 4 goals to hit 31.

Mid-week, Southampton travels to Rome to take on Roma in the Champion's League round of 16.
